The Red Guardsmen Bands consist of Marching Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band and Pep Band.

The award winning Red Guardsmen play an intrical role in the arts and music community of Hampton County and the sourrounding areas.

The officers of the Red Guardsmen for 2009-2010 are:
           Drum Major: William Thomas
           Woodwind Captain: Stephanie Mole
           Brass Captain: Mandrel Brown
           Percussion Captain: Shauann Barnes


As with all extra-curricular activities, there is a cost involved. The cost or "Fair Share", for the 2009 marching season is $120. There is a $60 discount per child for sibling memberships. The anticipated "Fair Share" will provide many things for the students including: summer uniform
T-shirts; band camp instructors; marching music and drill; drinks for performances and other items. A fundraiser will be made available for students who wish to defray the cost of the "Fair Share". Money should never be a reason to avoid participating in the marching band. Please contact Mr. Meshach if you have financial issues.

The fee will be $120.00 and can be split up into smaller payments. The first part of the fee ($40) is due anytime and the next installment ($40) is due by the beginning of Band Camp (July 27) and the remainder ($40) is due by the start of school (August 17). If you have more than one child in the band, each additional child?s fee will be only $60.00.
